Drop-off / Pick-up

The central terminal building has an area available for dropping off and picking up passengers.

Main Car Parks in the Central Terminal Area

There are approximately 8,000 parking slots available in the lots opposite the connections to the passenger terminals. Passengers are able to park for long and short-term stays in the below parkades:

Economy Lot C

Located on 96th Street and Sepulveda Boulevard, and free for the first two hours, then charged for every two hours after that. A shuttle provides free transport between this lot and each terminal. It has 7,300 spaces and is where the off-airport rental car terminal is based.

Passengers can walk to the LAX City Bus Center from this lot.

Park One Public Parking

Located on Century Boulevard and 96th Street and next to Terminal 1, travellers can use a shuttle or walk to the terminals. This lot offers daily uncovered parking – either with or without a valet.

Vertical Clearances

In the Central Terminal Area parking lots 1,2A,3,4,6 and 7 have a height restriction of 8 ft 2”. Parking lots 2B and 5’ s limit is 7 feet. Camper vans, trucks and trailers should use economy parking lot C.

Electric Vehicle Parking

Complimentary parking is offered to electric vehicles at the charging stations situated on the lower level of central parking lots 1 and 6.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycles can park for free inside the central parking lots. Riders should not take a ticket and shouldn’t park in spaces intended for cars.

Parking for Disabled Travelers

Los Angeles International Airport provides wider parking spaces near elevators for those with disabilities. These spaces are located in every airport parking lot. The airport also provides free shuttle buses equipped with lifts for passengers in wheelchairs, which are useful for travel between lots B and C and the terminals. I have a disabled traveler - how close to the airport can we park? While there are no parking spaces directly outside the terminal entrances, each parkade has dedicated disabled parking adjacent to the elevators on each level, ensuring easy access to the terminals.

Do I need to reserve parking? While you are unable to pre-book parking in the airport’s parking lots, you can use the form at the bottom of this page to reserve parking in adjoining parking lots. If you are travelling at short notice it is advisable to book online to secure your space, similarly pre-booking long stay parking can often entitle you to a discount.
